Thunder and Lightning was first created by Barry Washington in the late '70s and has provided services for many major acts such as Ray Charles, Sly, and the Family Stone, Rare Earth, Chuck Brown, and many more. As time went on, Mr. Washington had a family, and his son Chace Washington decided to take the role as head of the company and in doing so, has provided services for many iconic venues and organizations such as The Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, The Strathmore right here in the DMV, The DC Jazz Fest, and many others. He has also worked with artists such as Roc Nation artists Infinity Song, Victor Provost, The Blackbyrds, Warren Wolf, Leyla McCalla, Ari Lennox and many others.
